Ingredients -
Banza pasta or your favorite high protein pasta
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup milk alternative of choice ( I use fair life milk, you can use heavy whipping cream)
Shredded cheese
Seasonings of choice
Instructions -
Cook pasta according to box and drain water. Leave in strainer.
Take 1 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup milk and blend in a blender.
Pour that into pot on stove top that you cooked pasta in.
Once it starts to bubble, add shredded cheese. I used the taco/nacho blend cheese so the spices were already in there. If using regular cheddar, you may want to add salt and/or garlic powder.
Stir until cheese is mixed in then add pasta back in.
Mix the pasta in with your cheese sauce.
Let cool and enjoy!
